The case was evaluated for DPW by psychologist John Seasock, who found no evidence of abuse and "had never heard of a 52‐year‐old man 'becoming a pedophile.'" The district attorney eventually declined to prosecute, and sources would later say the case against Sandusky was "severely hampered" by Seasock's report. Seasock would go on to serve as an independent contractor for Penn State from 2000-2006.

The following emails were exchanged after the district attorney decided against pursuing criminal charges.

7. The Feds are investigating and Freeh

has been in contact with them. He gave them the emails as well as other items. They are also looking into Second Mile. The IRS might get involved too.

The Feds can compel them to give up certain documents and unless they plead the Fifth, people have to talk on record.

6. There have been a few clues in this case that indicate Sandusky wanted help or to be stopped.

From the words to the mother who confronted him for showering with her boy to the title of his book to the very dangerous (for getting caught) places where he raped his victims and from where he recruited his victims (a large charity he started). I point this out because NOT ONLY did the executives at PSU ignore these rapes and assaults, they ignored behavior that, seems to me, was crying out to be stopped.
