Louise is at it again. More nonsense

Mensch is reporting that Fox News is under an FBI counterintelligence investigation for co-ordinating with the Kremlin in broadcasting propaganda." According to Mensch, DOJ is considering a "referral" to the FCC for regarding "coordination" by Fox News (Hannity in particular) with "official organs of the Russian state on the grounds that it constitutes "knowing collaboration with an enemy attack on America." The URL on the story even suggests that Fox News' "broadcasting license" is "under threat".

This, of course, it utter nonsense. Fox News is a cable network, not a broadcast station. It is not licensed by the FCC. Moreover, the FCC has virtually no jurisdiction over the content of a cable news channel. And such channels can be foreign-owned (and many are). The notion that the current DOJ would "refer" a matter to the FCC (something that I can never recall happening in 40 years of FCC-oriented legal practice) or that the FCC would involve itself in content regulation of a cable network is just another piece of silly nonsense from Mensch.

by far too many people who inexplicably think she has connections that the excellent and diligent reporters at the Washington Post and the New York Times have been unable to cultivate, or that someone who wanted to leak bombshell info would leak it to the likes of Louise. And this notwithstanding that almost inevitably she claims something that simply could not have happened, like the Marshal of the Supreme Court delivering a notice of impeachment to Trump on the tarmac at Andrews AFB, or the FISA court convening a grand jury. And now the DoJ is "referring" something about Fox News to the FCC, which doesn't have jurisdiction over Fox News?

6. Some of her more out there theories should be poison pills

for a lot of people on this forum who love her. Claims that Sanders is a Russian agent, that Russia funded the Ferguson protests (which sounds more like a racist RW conspiracy theory to me), a Democratic Senator was embarassed for repeating a false rumor Mensch spread about a Trump grand jury, and many more.

She basically got one thing right (leading me to believe she at least had a source, or someone in the know sent her a one off email).

Someone who feeds her a bit of gosspip, then she fills it out with a whole bunch of uninformed speculation. Like in this case someone poking around Sean Hannity's possible role makes some sense. The rest just reads like typical forum speculation from someone not too informed about how things work, about what they think could happen.

Or her "sources" are crowd sourced internet Columbos who occasionaly find a nugget of truth mining the internet.
