Where do you stand?????

I make no bones where I stand politically. I have been a Progressive Liberal since 1968 and will remain so for the rest of my life.

But what we as a Nation are facing now in 2017, is a Government not by the people, for the people, or of the people. But by one man who believes he is above the law, has no understanding of the workings of the US Constitution, assulting the Press, the rule of law that governs us all, that words and actions have consequences, and that blind loyalty to him supercedes all others. This is what a Dictator demands and feeds on.

I make no excuses in my dislike and distrust of Donald Trump. What other President before him has acted in the manner he has in this Nation's history? The Russia scandal is one that is not going away any time soon despite the threats coming from Trump. The recent New York Times interview released today illustrates the dictatorial manner in which he behaves.

No President is above the law, nor is Trump making America Great Again, but the laughingstock of the world. What else comes from the Russia investigation should prove this once and for all. Watergate brought down Richard Nixon. Nothing good comes from covering up that which has become obvious to the naked eye and to the voters of this country.

What is equally sad and setting a dangerous precedent is that Congress as a whole is doing very little in providing the checks and balances of the Executive branch, except for the few who see the abuses of power on a daily basis. Those would be the Democrats in the House and Senate who are doing the screaming. Perhaps enough voters will listen and rethink what they did to put Trump in office.

My rant is completed.

For fifty-two years.
The current climate is hurting my heart.
I have NEVER!
I am so conflicted.
Attempting to follow Christ while having strong animosity in my being for the contemptible actions of the anti-Democracy power hungry and esp. of so-called no. 45 et al.
Because of my longstanding Faith/Belief, I have to hold that The Eternal One, The Almighty will provide resolve.
Forgive me, anyone, that I have said this and have offended.

Work everyday to get Voters Registered and Drive them to the Polls if you have to.
