organize dumpster diving parties! Just think of the benefits: get out in the fresh air, exercise, socialize with like-minded people, and best of all: FOOD!

Gosh, how long do you think it will be before some miserable SOB of a Republican actually suggest this?

I didn't know where it came from until after I ate it. Spend enough time with impoverished hippies and you find out some tricks. They often get organic food from the dumpsters at trader joe's and whole foods still in it's original packaging. In winter, it stays cold outside.

We are laughing nut this really isn 't funny.

Before I had Medicare I paid $600 a month with 5,000 deductible. I lost my job when the real estate.market crashed so I was paying that out if my savings.

It just ate up my savings.

No one pisses on Americans as often or as stankily as the republicans and their ignoble Draft-Dodger-in-Chief.

"Better Care Reconciliation Act"...

If there were laws requiring truth-in-naming legislation, this would be called the "Fuck Off and Die if You Aren't a Congressman or One of the 1% Act".

For those that get a subsidy, the premium is STILL over $15,000. Someone is paying for it. I don't buy into that, "Well, I only have to pay $300 a month! Great!" If I'm not paying the $15,000, then someone else is.

The point is that that's an OUTRAGEOUS amount to pay for insurance. Outrageous! Esp. in the case of people who are healthy; there's no basis to charge them that outrageous amount. It's not like this is a group policy. If it WERE a group policy, it wouldn't be over $15k.

Even for those who CAN pay these sums, it's not like this is money laying around. This is likely money they're saving for their elderly years, when they're sick or have a financial emergency and no way to bring in money, anymore. Or money being saved for a new roof or a/c system.

This system is outrageous. Just outrageous. AND...my premium for a mid-level silver right now is over $11,000 (I get a subsidy). So does that mean my new premium would be over $22,000?

All I can do is drop out of insurance altogether. What else can people do? Just the stress of all this is enough to make you sick!
