We would have to win both the House and Senate in 2018.
Maybe he will lose in 2020.
I read a poll a few weeks ago that said the Democratic Party has an approval rating lower than Trump.
Also he is polling fairly well in the rust belt states etc.

(831 posts)Trump is so hated in Mexico that the Mexican government won't be willing to negotiate anything that looks like a win for Trump (to an unbiased person, of course Trump is going to declare total victory no matter what happens) because if they do, it will mean their heads at the next election. Possibly the same for Canada. That means NAFTA will be a failure. I assume the Republicans are stuck on ACA repeal and I assume they will make no progress on "tax reform". In 4 years, Trump doesn't run again or loses in the primary.
