I feel shame.

I wonder if people around the world who lived under authoritarian rule also felt shame?

I am ashamed and disgusted to have such a horrible person as my president.

Shame is for people who are guilty of shameful acts.

What did you do, cilla4progress, to feel such shame? Nothing worthy of the emotion, I respectfully suspect.

Personally, I feel great embarrassment that half of our country voted for this idiot. I don't feel shame, I feel disgust with my fellow citizens.
