The statue in the background on MSNBC.

A popular place for on camera work in the capitol has a man's statue in the background. He seems kind of slouched and appears to have one hand in his pocket.
I think it's Will Rogers.
Anybody know?

3. Thanks. I don't think so.

At least not from this angle.
It looks like it's against a wall or in a shallow alcove.

8. Yeah, think different angle...

they wouldn't set up facing directly to the wall because it would block the corridor. So Katie and the cameraman are facing down the hall, and the statue is at a different angle.

9. Just pokin' around on the google...

looks like they have moved it around a bit over the decades!

Now it's where we see it behind the lurking MSNBC reporters!

10. He said "I don't belong to any political organization. I'm a Democrat."

And here we are.

15. "I am not a member of any organized political party. I am a Democrat."

Works better that way.
