1. The ticket-with-book

book tour has proven effective for sales. I'm not sure I like the monetizing of a message.

2. I don't begrudge him the opportunity to make some money from his book.

This seems pretty egalitarian, as opposed to the ways in which others leverage their fame. I was pleased to see that his tour includes Nashville and may go hear him. This would be the only opportunity many people would ever have to hear him speak.

4. I don't begrudge Mr. Biden an opportunity

to make some money from a book.

"This would be the only opportunity many people would ever have to hear him speak."

You're probably correct about this. I would, however, caution that "many people" only includes those "many people" with sufficient disposable income to afford the book.
