Olbermann: If "most" would have, you did...didn't you?

So YOU would have gone to it?

You did, didn't you?

@realDonaldTrump

Most politicians would have gone to a meeting like the one Don jr attended in order to get info on an opponent. That's politics!

1. I was thinking the same thing when I read the Trumpster's tweet this AM.

It sounded like a confession to me.

2. He knew and approved for sure.

Probably attended by some phone link.

Real smart, shithead.

13. That's a terrible defense

They lied about the meeting, and tried to hide the fact that there ever was one.
Then they got caught.

So now Cheeto says, what's wrong with this? Anybody would do it. So yeah, then why lie about it?

Caught with your pants down - AGAIN!

3. Anyone want to take bets?

In the next week or so, do we find out that the 9th or 10th person in the room was Donald J. Trump?

4. Exactly.

They should have had this meeting at an airport in a hanger because so many unexpected people showed up.......

5. Ah, yes, the "Everybody Does It" excuse used by incarcerated prisoners everywhere

The worst defense you could ever mount.

6. Most would have.

Hence the need for laws to discourage the practice.

7. Note the framing: oppo research

It wasn't about oppo research, it was about selling out the country to the Russians.

14. Yes that's a good point

If *anyone* would attend the meeting, why did they lie about it?
They knew they were breaking the law, that's why.

Maybe they didn't understand about "collusion" yet, but they definitely knew what "treason" meant.

9. No, it's not "politics." It's republican treason

against America.

Only the ignoble republican Draft-Dodger-in-Chief and his cabal of republican colluding comrades would sink so low as to commit treason against the USA.

republican treason is deplorable.

15. Actually that's "business"

Trump just didn't bother to learn that politics has rules, especially when dealing with a hostile country.
