1. My bet is no

He could fail on a catastrophic level, but if he quit he'd consider himself a failure.

I'll put $5, but believe it or not that's as much as I can afford. Big bet for me.

3. Perhaps. But not right away.

He hasn't reached that stage in his thinking yet.

10. That's the only way.

FAUX and conservative commentators are already turning on the POS. If his base support is corroded the Repuke Congress will want him out. Plus, I think he will try to cut a deal to avoid prosecution after he leaves.

6. Medical emergency just as they are coming to serve him papers.

I predict something vague like severe exhaustion or a minor stroke due to the liberal media attacking him and his white as the driven snow guiltless family. This will be ratcheted up as several rumors are flying that Ivanka will soon be exposed for her misdeeds and connections to all of this.

8. they drive him right up to the ball for every shot, even if it's on the green

Plus, I think he just drives out of sight from the parking lot and sits in the cart and meets with people.

He is not looking well lately. He looks like a heart attack waiting to happen to me.

9. If he goes before 2020 that is how it will happen.

It depends if Trump starts losing his Russian money. They must be in financial trouble look how they are using charities to support their damn golf courses. When the kids start getting prosecuted Trump will not like having to pardon them. Money laundering must not be a good business to have when you start gathering political enemies and have to protect your sources. It gets real hard to buy off the opposition in political life.

11. Trump never faces the music.

If the GOP and his own appointees cannot shield him from his fuck-ups, he will resign after pardoning himself.

...but that may be one reason for the rumors of pressure for Kennedy to step down.

13. ONLY IF the 2020 elections shift the legislature enough to the left.

Right now the foxes are guarding the henhouse so trump can afford to lay rotten eggs all over the place with impunity. If trump loses his (R) security blanket in the house and senate, only then does he consider resigning. He can do whatever he wants right now because (R)'s won't impeach their own.

17. Have people not been paying attention for the last two years?

He has spent the last two years bounding from one mind bending absurdity to the other, with people here breathlessly saying THIS IS IT!

WTH would he step down?

He and his family are royalty now. They have the office of POTUS to make deals across the world.

Here, they are like the guys in the mob that get a bar or store from someone who owed them money and run it into the ground, that is what he and his are doing.

He needs to be POTUS to do what he can to tamp down efforts to hold him and his accountable.

WTH would he quit, only to leave himself powerless to cover his ass?

I am at a loss for how anyone sees him quiting.

Only way we root him out of the oval office is going look like the final scene from Scarface.
