Security clearance

Does refiling after the fact ...ie not being truthful ... aboslves someone (a la Jerad Kushner) from criminality?.

Like you met someone from England at a party five years ago and forgot to put it in. This is why Jared's lawyer is trying argue that they accidently submitted a draft.

But it still begs the question as to why he never prepared a final. And why he needed six months and three amendments to fix it. And if illegal activity was discussed at those meetings, well then it doesn't look like an innocent mistake anymore.
