and profits made by the government-owned oil companies have gone into the pockets of government officials and the oligarchs. The Russian government is basically a criminal enterprise like the Mafia.

Probably oil. It was a while ago, I perused. But Putin attained massive wealth. In a manner that Trump would be thrilled to learn the ends and outs. Being the type of President he has shown us to be and behaviors implemented that are all Putin, I am watchful. Curious if it all ties together.
