She's not feeling pain anymore. Cancer is taking away so many people we love - it's a horrible, horrible disease. I wish peace on you and your family, and that you will remember all the good times with your loved one. Your step mama is alive in your heart and in your memories.

Cancer is a tricky bastard. People are told it is "gone". That results in hope and rejoicing, celebrations, happiness. Then a time later there it is again. Punishing and deadly.

It is a heart, mind and body punishing disease for everyone involved. I hope someday the researchers can beat it.

It brings such sadness. I wish you strength.
