So they do what their billionaire and corporate donors want.

Those billionaire GOP donors want tax cuts, and the money has to come from somewhere, so cutting healthcare it is.

when they said they wanted to go into medicine to heal the sick and help the underserved, when in fact they had zero concern for anyone less fortunate than them. But hey, they fooled the admissions committee. The GOP is the perfect home for them.

I vacillate, better to have these freakin weirdos in public office, *OR* in private practice, victimizing 1 person at a time?!?

The GOP has convinced lots of people that make $100-300k a year that tax cuts are good for them. No one has realized that a small tax cut on the $100-300k income, paired with a HUGE tax cut on those worth $100M or more, leads to destruction of government programs and services (like roads and healthcare and retirement and the DMV and schools) so the $100-300k income people lose out on net.

The became doctors for the salary, not because as a noble calling. They are like the old joke:

Q: What do you call a guy who graduated last in his class at medical school?
A: Doctor.
