When trump proposed the solar wall, he was implying that because of the solar panels the wall would be beautiful. Since conventional wisdom states that, in the northern hemisphere, solar panels should face south for the most optimal sun exposure, Mexico would be the beneficiary of the "beautiful" solar panels, the US would get the back side. Yes, we would benefit from the energy generated from them but the wall would not be some glorious thing to behold if we're seeing the panels from behind...hope that clarifies. (Hey pnwmom...hope you are well!!!)
