McCain: No American has seen healthcare bill, but I'm sure Russia has By Max Greenwood - 06/20/17 03:36 PM EDT Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said he hasn't met an American who has seen the Senate Republicans' healthcare bill yet, though he's "sure the Russians have" gotten their hands on it, Bloomberg reported. Asked Tuesday whether he has seen a copy of the legislation, McCain said he has not. "Nor have I met any American that has," he added, according to Bloomberg. "I’m sure the Russians have been able to hack in and gotten most of it." McCain is one of a number of senators growing frustrated with Senate Republican leaders' efforts to draft the healthcare overhaul measure. more... http://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/338633-mccain-no-american-has-seen-healthcare-bill-but-im-sure-russia-has?rnd=1497987409

40. They all will. They want to get rid of Obamacare even if
they never see the damn bill. That's how much they hate Obama and his supporters. He showed us what we could be, and the Greedy Repubs want to dispel that no matter how much shit MM makes them eat.
Collins probably won't vote for it. We need 3! I think they will fold and do it. Plus, they are pumped after the SC & Georgia elections. I don't much like this country anymore. I don't recognize it. ![]() |

You make neat 'maverick' noises from time to time, but you've always shown up and carried water for your dirt-bag party. W tore your ass up and you showed up for him. Trump is 100% worse and stands for everything you hate and you line up like a good boy, jug in hand and wait for your allotted water to carry.

36. He's manipulating the msg: "We're doing the same thing the Dems did." Which is a lie.
The Dems did NOT craft a bill in secret and not give the Repubs a chance to debate it or amend it.
The Dems had hearings & debates on the ACA over 14 months, gave Repubs ample opportunity to submit amendments, and accepted almost 200 Republican amendments. What the Dems got in return? Nothing. Not one Republican voted for it. This is NOT the process the Repubs are using, which is immoral or unethical, crafting it in secret. Even their own party members state they haven't seen it. There will be NO HEARINGS, NO DEBATE on the bill, and little time to propose amendments. A TOTALLY different process. |
