Jesse Lee Peterson Says Democrats At Congressional Baseball Game Were Praying To Satan

Kyle Mantyla | June 19, 2017 12:04 pm

Right-wing commentator Jesse Lee Peterson kicked off his radio show on Friday by again insisting that Democrats who prayed for Rep. Steve Scalise and others who were shot last week are a bunch of frauds because all Democrats really worship Satan.

Peterson was outraged by photos of Democrats and Republicans kneeling together in prayer ahead of the annual congressional baseball game, declaring that “it’s so pitiful to hear people think that the Democrats are united with the Republicans.”

“It was a phony prayer,” Peterson said. “Democrats, liberals do not believe in God. They were praying to their father, the devil.”

“Democrats don’t believe in prayer, they don’t believe in God,” he said. “They took God out of the schools. They took prayer out of the public square … Why are you so impressed with the children of Satan getting down on their knees yesterday, pretending to be praying? They were down on their knees thinking, ‘Lord, I can’t wait until this is over.’ They’re like, ‘Forgive me, Satan. I’m just playing.’ And Satan was like, ‘Oh, okay, I know, I do that all the time.'”

1. He would be actually funny if it werent for the

millions of deplorables who believe this shit and act on it.

If you are someone who believes in magical beings that we cant see, and you also believe that those folks over there believe in the evil version of it, then they become very dangerous to the sane people in the world.

2. Crazy speech and hate speech freely and widely spread...could that be the primary cause of

so much hate and crazy?
Nay, hate speech and crazy speech will be disinfected by being brought into the light, is that the logic protecting hate speech?
Not logical.

3. This moron is laughable

If liberals don't believe in God they don't believe in Satan. I don't think you can have one without the other.

4. Satan makes a dandy scapegoat, too.

Somebody does something stupid or bad, "The devil made me do it!"

Also Peterson is dead wrong in one of his statements, God has *NOT* been "taken out of the schools or public square."

FORCED religion has, though.

And to fundys, anything that stops them from shoving their belief on everyone is "persecution."

And a teacher friend of mine said to me, "As long as there are pop quizzes, there will be prayer in schools."

5. Prayer in the public square?

Children can still pray in public schools. The only restriction is that teachers(as representatives of the government) cannot make them pray, if they don't want to!

And didn't Christ mention something about praying in public?

Matthew 6:5

And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Of course this is the same "man" who wants to send blacks back to work on plantations so they learn to appreciate hard work!
