Trump is considering replacing Reince Priebus as Chief of Staff...

What it would mean:

Reince Priebus is the primary conduit to the Republican establishment in the House and Senate. After all, he was the Chairman of the National Republican Party before he was Chief of Staff for Donald Trump.

If he leaves, it would suggest a separation, perhaps a divorce, of Donald Trump from the national Republican Party. He would be cutting loose the last conduit to the leadership of the Republican leadership in the House and Senate. What might be the consequences?

It may make it much more difficult to pursue any legislative agenda? Also, it would take away the strongest, perhaps the only, voice between the Executive Branch and the Legislative Branch, and would create even more chaos and confusion in the messages coming out of this White House.

This will be a big decision if Trump carries through.

13. Yes. Rump's approval ratings would be the only big

obstacle between Congress and removing him from office. And those depend a great deal on Congress...

2. He can't get anyone to fill his cabinet positions so I'm not sure who would do it.

4. I recommend Nunes, Chaffetz or Ryan replace him.

Or all three. That way they can all go down with the ship together.

8. OR that charming darling Corey Lewandowski!

I find it greatly amusing that so many openings in the White House and administration remain unfilled - because nobody wants them! NOBODY wants to work for this guy! The clear thinkers out there who still maintain some grip on reality know better than to sign up with this bunch and get it all over themselves. They evidently understand you can't wash that kind of stain off your resume. People like Mattis and McMaster are pretty much finished, as far as whatever credibility they once had. And as for those who already had very little credibility (lookin' at YOU, reince!), they're more screwed than ever.

I think the "mark of trump" will be a difficult one to get over, once it's been attached.

9. I'd like to see them pull someone out of elected office...

But Lewindowski (from the way they were talking this morning) would blow things up at the White House, and that would be ok too.

6. That wouldn't surprise me at all.

Trump appears to be pulling back into a shell at the White House. He seems to want to isolate the office of President from all outside influence, and doesn't care whether he maintains any links outside of the administration.

That won't work, of course, but he knows so little about political reality that he might believe it could work.

Looks like he's about to barricade himself inside the West Wing. Better call in the SWAT van.

the first 2 having come directly from the Senate.

11. It doesn't matter. A meaningless position in the Trumpsky regime.

Trumpsky accepts no opinions or direction other than his own. It's a thankless, ceremonial position under the orange shitgibbon. No smart person will take this job. But I'm sure some soul-less money grubbers are waiting for the phone call.
