The obvious double-standard of the American media...
"Lock her up!", they yelled.
She was charged with having an extra email server with possible exposure to our enemies? They accused her of being somehow responsible for the disaster in Benghazi and they had about seven different investigations looking into her corruptness.
And the media played along. They always seem to dance to the corporate tune if there is a conflict between the two political Parties? The Republicans are always given the benefit of the doubt and the Democrats are always assumed to be guilty of whatever charges the Republicans bring up?
Now, we have evidence that there may have been subversive activities going on with this White House, even before they took office. The IC (Intelligence Community) are all telling us about the dangers that we are possibly facing.
There is evidence, thru phone calls and conversations, that there is possible espionage against our country by the Trump White House. The evidence has become over-whelming. Yet, we have talking heads, liberals and conservatives, making excuses for what might have happened? Jared was naive. He was never in the government. Etc...etc.
We have individuals that are talking with the Russians in secret, attempting to set up a back door for secret communications with the Kremlin, and out of the reach of American intelligence agencies. In other words, spies. On top of that, they wanted to communicate with the Russians from the Russian server, which was encrypted to escape the scrutiny of American intelligence.
On top of all that, we have the President of the United States passing top secret information to the Russians from within the Oval Office. He acts like an overt spy for the other side. He doesn't even pretend anymore. He even passes information to the Philippine dictator the whereabouts of our nuclear submarines! Some of our most guarded secrets.
But where are the calls to "Lock 'em up!"? Where is it even close to what Hillary was charged with? We are talking about possible espionage and treason.
The double-standard in the media is very obvious. They only jump to attention when the corporate Republicans are screaming about all the wrongdoing of the Democrats. Granted, there are some in the printed media that are doing great work. They are reporting incredible facts about this Administration, but so far, the Republicans have suffered no political consequences for their quiet support of the Trump policies.
We are talking about real crimes vs made-up shit. There needs to be more pressure applied to these corporate stooges pretending to be patriotic Americans. "Lock 'em up!" needs to be shouted from the rooftops, I suppose? All we can ask for is equal treatment. But under these circumstances, we are witnessing something that is a 1000 times worse than anything that Hillary Clinton was ever charged with.
It is not a time to make excuses for Jared Kushner, Donald Trump, Mike Pence, Paul Manafort, and all the others that have sold out our country for the almighty dollar.
