Looking at the Trump clown car, I dunno if we deserve nice things like a democracy anymore.

People voted for a mentally incompetent, corrupt reality show host supported by a white supremacist screenplay writer/blog editor and his 30 year old son-in-law who used to be in real estate and we now know is most definitely a Russian spy, but not a good one.

The GOP is lock step behind their man, so committed to partisan gain they don't care if the country goes up in flames. It's been obvious for a long time that the Trump gang is into some seriously corrupt stuff, but Ryan is so jazzed about a chance to kick poor people off food stamps, he doesn't care. We knew McConnell was a stone-cold partisan assassin already, and he does not disappoint here either. There is nothing Trump can do that he won't try to enable. It will take a rebellion in his caucus to move him, and I am not holding my breath. No one on their side has the balls to take on the Turtle.

They are SO BAD. Not smart. Not good. Not even charismatic. They grab pussies. They punch reporters. Voters don't care. They seem to LIKE it. We can bitch about Electoral College and Russian propaganda, but people have been voting their racist fears ahead of any good sense for so long, that is what made us so vulnerable in the first place.

They are so poisoned against their own country, they prefer Putin to Hillary Clinton, essentially. I dunno. I hope we come out of this. But not sure if we have enough national character to pull it off.

It is one thing to have political differences, but we are at a whole 'nother level now.

Can you imagine if one of our allies had nuclear weapons and elected a clown like this?

And to hold those who did vote45 accountable to living in accordance with the very Constitution that they so despise....

Fuck them & the bigoted /hateful/misogynistic /evangelical/white supremacist beliefs they rode in on...
.
they were cool trading Democracy Liberty justice & constitutional rights for a chance to
create their little utopian Trumptopian reality

That time is over now.... they had their chance ...

Back to REALITY and the inalienable rights of all people as afforded by the Constitution....

The place we are at today didn't come out of thin air. It's been building for a long time. I hope people wake up and we pull it out of the ditch, but I am not overly optimistic. It's really up to the GOP majority in congress and they don't seem inclined to do shit. I dunno. Maybe the special investigations and judicial branch can keep us in the lane until 2018. But one serious 'incident' and we are well and truly screwed. Our government is not functioning on anything more than auto-pilot right now. No one seems to be in charge. Trump is really not mentally fit. That was 100% obvious when you look at tape of his European visit.
