1. I think most of us figured that out in 1992 or 2000 or 2009

2. Sure, but our leaders for the most part refuse to state the obvious.
Instead they have normalized radical right-wing authoritarianism, and that is very very dangerous.

11. Tell it to the Democratic Party
Their failure to label Republicans for what they are, or even call them out as Republicans (Obama referred to them as "Congress" mostly), has been a never-ending example of political malpractice of the highest order.

So far he is one of the few that openly say.

5. He's right.
I supported HRC and Bernie is correct. And it seems to be getting worse. We hang our hats on 2018 and a criminal investigation and a senate closely enough divided to slow the legislative agenda to a crawl.
My question is this: is this the last gasps of a dying right wing in our country or is this just the beginning of a new surge of strength? I tell myself it's the former but I'm not so sure. The Trump voters are quiet now but that doesn't mean they have changed their minds. It just means that maybe he wasn't the right one to carry the mantle. The next one will be cleaner, now that there is traction for the actual message. I think we have to attack the message. The message is extreme and outside of American values. The new Christians are a hate group. We have got to meet their aggressiveness with aggression. We have to be brutally honest. There can be no compromise with right wing extremist. |

10. their message has been ignored on 1000 radio stations for 30 years
the russians are familiar with a successful PSYOPS and figured it out before the left and dem party and bernie, who made a name in large part because of his 'brunch with bernie' on thom hartmans radio show.
the russians have bee piggybacking it probably going back before limbaugh used russian-hacked emails to create 'climategate' in 2009. they're probably the ones that told trump's guys to study it in 2014 for the campaign. most of the soc media trolling was based on years of talk radio lies. we even let 88 major unis support it. trump and the gop's ability to escape this disaster will depend on americans continuing the biggst political mistake in history - ignoring talk radio |

14. The more that education is demonized, the worse things will get...
Across all grades. Red states are now fond of referring to public schools as "government schools," as if to add some dreaded leftist toxin into the mix. College is unaffordable for far too many; it can't even exist as a dream.
Add to this a steady drip of Fox News disinformation, right-wing hate radio and fundamentalist rigidity. It doesn't look too favorable for an era of enlightenment to be ushered in any time soon. |

7. Which is true -- and why it was so wrong for so many people
to pretend that Democrats were almost as bad as the Rethugs. The gap between the Republicans and the Democrats was huge compared to that between Bernie and Hillary.
For example, on college tuition, Bernie and Hillary argued about whether free state tuition should be available to every student of every income, or only students in families up to $125K. What has DT proposed? Getting rid of Federally subsidized student loans and loan forgiveness. |

16. Yes! Thank you!
The way out of this aspect of the mess is decent education for as many citizens as possible. College can't even exist now as a dream for way too many kids.
Quality, affordable education (all levels) is elemental to winning this long-running-nightmare war with ourselves. |

8. it's the talk radio party, led by a few hundred corporate think
tank scripted liars and jerks
politicians like bernie would do us all a big favor and finally figure it out and tell americans that it got this bad because we ignored it for the last 39 years. |

They are NOT "conservative." They just picked a convenient adjective and hijacked it. From the sound of it, it's the only four-syllable word most of them know.
