The Republicans are in so deep that the next election they will have to collude with Russians and Putin to swing as many as possible. That's the only way they will survive. If Democrats take control many Republicans as well as Trump are likely to go to jail so they will be desperate. And there are so many more Dem seats up compared to Reps it will be hard to defend them all.

7. I agree, no fair election in 2018

The complicit Republicans own the Presidency, the Justice department, federal law enforcement agencies (FBI), the Senate, the House, the Supreme Court, 34 State legislative bodies, 33 governorships. They count the votes (recall Stalin's famous remark). Their overloads own 99% of the major media. I don't see how we elect ourselves out of this mess.

We've been frogs swimming around in a pot of warming water - its boiling now and will be exceedingly hard to jump out of.

Having said that, I stand my ground and make myself heard (although Barney Frank said not long ago, protest all you want, it doesn't make a difference - the political class only responds to those with the dollars to fill their campaign coffers).

These are truly dark times, easy to fall into despair. We need a bright light to emerge amongst us.
