1. Not sure I believe that

Flynn was reporting to someone but I'm more inclined to believe it was a Russian.

4. Too many close to Trump also tied to Russians.

I don't buy the Trump was the unknowing dupe of a cabal of pro-Russian manipulators. If so, why was Trump so afraid to say anything negative about Putin or Russia during the campaign? I don't believe anyone had the ability to keep Trump that on message unless Trump himself was similarly motivated to stay on message.

8. It's possible that he was encouraged by the Russians, and immersed in the Trump Gang. The

go-between, a man bitter with Obama, and channelled by the Russians and Trump.

9. Flynn was reporting to Trump and taking orders from Trump. That's the point.

So, Flynn's actions implicate Trump. Simple to understand really.

21. If Trump wasn't in on it, how could you accidentally pick those yahoos?

Without having intent, it would be almost impossible to find that many with the Russian connections. Think they all gave him the KGB secret handshake at their first meeting to signal that Vlad sent them.

Trump thought his multiple lines of connection would mask a direct link to Putin and the oligarchs.

25. Exactly - there's too much of it- including family - for it to be an accident. He asked for policy

Changes that Putin wanted and nothing else from the RNC platform. He knew. He was laundering their money and in deep himself.

10. DU pal: Does this mean

1) This guy (TAYLOR?) keeps checking out = accuracy of his stuff? Or "checking out" as in has-left-the-building?

2) "Former WJC Staffer" = Bill CLINTON staffer? "has been taking them (TAYLOR, Louise, etc.) to the woodshed?"

I was confused before. Now am confused. I'm interested, please spell it out for me. Thanks.

14. Trump STILL says Flynn didn't do anything wrong.

and from his perspective, Flynn didn't. He was following orders. They didn't consider him compromised, they was in on it.

but Pence could be the first to go down once it is revealed that Flynn wasn't lying to Pence at all. Pence was knowingly lying to the press and the public.

23. I think you're correct.

He didn't care because Flynn was doing exactly as he'd been told to do. They weren't concerned with Flynn's treason because they're nose deep in it themselves. I believe they thought they could divert press attention elsewhere and to some extent they were successful until the fateful WaPo story. After that it couldn't be ignored. I still think they'll try to make Flynn the fall guy for the whole thing but Sally Yates put a hitch in that get-a-long. SAD!

26. Last night Malcolm Nance said as soon as Yates told them about Flynn

It should have triggered a freeze on security briefing and a review of everyone who had contact with Flynn to make sure they were not also compromised.

As he talked about that with Rachel Maddow, I was thinking, "Of course the NORMAL procedure was not followed - everyone in the Trump cadre is complicit and compromised. They could NOT allow in depth investigations since it would have revealed their links to Russia!"

28. I think its worth remembering how anti-Russia the GOP has historically been until now

For Trump to find that many Republicans to pack into the white house who have Russian ties is remarkable. I don't see how it can possible be coincidental.
