Republicans in the House say they have the votes to pass the American Health Care Act, a measure that will repeal the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare. The vote is scheduled for Thursday. We analyzed the AHCA in March, when the original version was scheduled for a vote that eventually was canceled.

[UPDATE: The House passed the bill 217-213 on nearly a strict party-line vote, with 20 Republicans voting against it and no Democrats in favor.]

1. Well, I guess the lower income people that so wildly supported the Republicans will be out

celebrating that wealthy Americans will get even greater wealth and lower income people will be F'ed over with the republican vote to destroy the ACA. Some seem to seek self-punishment in the way they vote these critters into office, over and over again.

drops Grandma on their doorstep becasue Medicare isn't paying for her care anymore?

3. If this goes through in whatever form they're going to be a lot of WTF's. Many people IMO

just don't pay attention to what is really going on when they vote. Many can't seem to comprehend that politics in the US has become almost like a legalized criminalized enterprise in some respects.
