Did you know?

Did you know that every time you respond to a thread, it bumps it back to the top of the discussion board? So, if someone creates a post with a right wing nonsense subject line, every time someone responds to the thread, it goes back to the top of the posts. If you click on such a post because the subject line bugs you, and you see that about two dozen other DUers have called it out for nonsense, why not just let it drop down the page? It will roll off soon enough and won't bug you anymore.

Pretty please?

It's also used by disruptors and trolls to hijack a forum they don't agree with.

multiples of 25. They rise to the top of Greatest according to the number of recs they get.

Every time you respond to a thread it doesn't bump it back to the top.

What am I missing?

But on the larger question, I agree on letting the controversies that are created by those outside our party to die.
