Watch Pence being groomed to take the POTUS spot, happening right before our eyes. By the time...

...the Mad King is yanked off the stage, even most of the guys in MAGA hats should feel some relief.

What's more intriguing is what Nikki Haley is up to. Who's giving her direction for her role at the UN? There's some indication she's making it up for herself. Further, who initiated that upcoming trip to the White House for the entire UN Security Council? Again, I got the impression from today's talking heads that Nikki is initiating this. She can't possibly believe, by now, that a lunchtime conversation with DTs will do anything to make him more intelligent. But it sure makes her look ... Vice Presidential, at a minimum.

Watch what they do, not what they say.

I know, I know, I have heard no hint of that, but hey, a girl can dream, can't she? It's said there is tape on Ryan, McConnell, Sessions, Flynn, Manafort, Page and Drumpf himself. I'd be really happy to have every one of them out of government, just unhappy if Pence becomes president. While he won't turn the world over to Russia, he will totally fuck us over, so I'm hoping there's something to bring him down with the other traitors.

the fact that the party that cheated and colluded are the ones responsible for investigating it and holding the ones that did it responsible is laughable.

But I've never heard anything to indicate that he's anything other than what he seems to be: a hyper-religious guy who's a dumb as a box of rocks and will do his damndest to conflate Church and State.

Pence may have been chosen by Trump in part because he looks the part, and that matters to the reality tv star.

So once again, watch the edges of the screen. Nikki Haley was considered a rising GOP star before she became governor, and she seems to be making the most of this appointment.

Here's how I see that scenario (if it ever happens):

Pence is found dirty and impeached and removed.
For the sake of argument, Trump is also found to be dirty about that time and isn't allowed to name a new VP (which is a stretch).
Trump is impeached and removed.
Paul Ryan is President and names a VP.

Not sure that is better.

...before starting the impeachment process with Nixon. The office of potus never even came close to the Speaker of the House, by design. I don't think there will be a vacancy for Ryan, either. If Pence becomes President, a replacement VP will be appointed, I would say by the House.

Go back to my OP. Pence is out there on the damn battleship, not the doofus. Pence just had a 20 minute tv interview in an executive-appearing office.

That's what is becoming evident -- that they can see what we see.

The difference is the GOP versus all of the Mad King's handlers and sycophants are in a struggle to see who can hang onto ultimate power the longest. Their fondest wish came true -- to hold all the branches of government at once -- and all of them must fear it slipping from their grasp. When Trump goes, then all of his family will go too. Trump Inc. scarcely wants that to happen. But the longer they all stay, the more damage they do to the country. However, with him gone the "normal" GOP can reconsolidate power, and I think they'd like to do that.

Either way the country is screwed, but maybe we won't get nuked.

We would wait to see if we get control of the House next year. Reason is, incoming Majority can name anyone they want to Speakership. Name Hillary, and then impeach the TICKET. Trump goes, Pence goes, and anyone who abeted them that doesn't want to go to prison, can back that play.

Yes it's partisan.
Yes it's the worst kind of political optics.

It's also the Constitutional Remedy to an election stolen by and for the purpose of commission of High Treason. If the snowflakes whine, they can be asked why they hate America. Fuck em if they were dumb enough to get caught. It will take the better part of this year to get the paper-trail solid enough for Court anyway.

I share your opinion.

Your analysis is both accurate and frightening. President Bannon is being replaced outside our White House by the Pence crowd, more palace intrigue. I suspect Sessions is taking his orders from Pence, under the cover of night at the VP residence.

If this most likely true speculation goes viral, will the tweet stormer take over another news cycle? At what point will republicans decide that the mad king is damaging their brand?

"Watch what they do, not what they say." A front pager at kos uses a similar saying.

as often as possible. Even a presidents foreign visits are done by Pence. Republicans let trump have foreign Leaders over to the white house for the public spectacle. Or trump just calls them. Pence goes to their country and has serious meetings like he's already President.

I don't think any republicans much like the UN or even know what they are.

The UN president, the General from Norway I wish he was an American and spoke for us instead of Haley.

I agree with you, Nikki Haley is making shit up on the fly and that gets children gassed and killed in this World.

Watch Priebus throw Trump under the bus by saying, in essence, he is the boss and will be judged favorable in the end. That really means Trump is a loose cannon and the GOP will take care of that when there is an auspicious time to drag him down.

it was pence, christie, gingrich and i think someone else . trump's personal choice was christie but jared kushner didn't want him because of the issue with sending his dad to prison.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3887106/Donald-Trump-wanted-Chris-Christie-pick-VP-chose-Mike-Pence-pressure-aides-family.html

"Had it not been for the scandal, Christie may have been Trump's pick, not Pence.

'Trump had wanted Christie but Bridgegate would have been the biggest national story,' a source close to Trump told the Post.

'He'd lose the advantage of not being corrupt.'

Trump told Christie that he would pick Pence because not doing so would 'tear my family apart.' "
