So, Trump wants to ride in a carriage?

Well, many of our presidents used to ride in carriages. However, unlike the royal carriages of Europe, presidential carriages in the United States were plain and unadorned with gilding and ornamentation. Some of those carriages still exist, including President Lincoln's, which is currently in the Smithsonian museum in fully operational order. Perhaps Donald Trump can have one hauled out of the museum for use in his processions, but I fear they are not ornate enough to match his imperial ego. Here's a photo of Lincoln's carriage, as it sits now in the Smithsonian. It's large and dignified, but hardly ornate and regal. I recommend a ride in it for Trump, down the streets of Washington D.C., so all could view him:
