Is France now lost to civilized governance? Is the election lost to the alt-right now?

What a F***ed situation just days before the election. Total chaos at the top of all governments is what ISIS, Bannon, Russia want for the world. Looks like they are getting what they want.

1. The terrorists are winning.

They hoped to sow fear and hate, and force an apocalyptic confrontation with the West. And the Deplorable everywhere are happy to oblige. Humanity never fails to disappoint.

2. You have to admit one thing.

Terrorists knew they could never beat us militarily so they relied on the stupidity and fear of people and it has worked perfectly.

4. You would think the French might recall being taken over by fascists.

Of course many of them collaborated though those who fought the Nazis were extremely brave.

Seems they want to repeat the experience?

I hope they throw ouit these rw scum.

5. Plus this that was happening pre Paris attack

Le Pen's proposed policies align closely with Russia's values and geopolitical goals. Her party, the National Front, received a loan from a Russian bank, First Czech Russian Bank, which is owned by a Putin confidant, to fund Le Pen's campaign. She said she was unable to obtain a loan of 9 million Euros from western banks.

Le Pen also traveled to Russia last month to meet with Putin and a photograph of the meeting was released to the press from the Kremlin. She has gone to Russia several times to meet with members of the legislature.

6. Marine Le Pen calls for all French terror suspects to be expelled after Champs Elysees attack

The gunman who shot dead a policeman on the Champs Elysees in Paris in an apparent Isil-inspired terror attack before being killed has been named as French national Karim Cheurfi.

Authorities earlier revealed Cheurfi - who was jailed for 20 years for trying to kill officers in 2001 - had been under preliminary investigation for terrorism and was detained two months ago but “let go”.

The attack raised questions over how yet another Islamist extremist known to police was able to bring terror to the heart of the French capital
