Woman who provided deadly butt-enhancement injections gets 10 years in prison

Oneal Ron Morris, who pleaded no contest to manslaughter and practicing medicine without a license last month in connection with a deadly butt- enhancement, was sentenced Monday to 10 years in prison followed by five years of probation.

Morris, 36, who is known by her patients as “Duchess,” had been accused of injecting a toxic mixture of substances into the buttocks of women who were seeking curvier figures but could not afford traditional cosmetic surgery.

Women, and men who live as women but have not undergone sex-change operations, visited Morris at various locations, where Morris would inject them with silicone, mineral oil, Fix-a-Flat tire sealant, cement and Super Glue, according to investigators.

Shatarka Nuby, a Tamarac woman who allegedly paid Morris $2,000 for as many as 10 injections between 2007 and 2010, died from related complications in 2012.

7. OMG... Is she mental?

Seriously, there's condition where people look in the mirror and see themselves totally different. Gaunt anorexics think they are morbidly obese, and normal looking people imagine they are horribly ugly. This woman has disfigured her own body, but evidently views herself as beautiful. I want to pity her, but not when she was so stupidly arrogant that she killed someone and left others at risk for lifelong medical problems.

8. I would imagine that being a transgender woman

and not being accepted by many people could cause one to have a host of body image issues. And I'm sure she wanted a more "womanly" body and got caught in the enhancement/plastic surgery trap that so many women are in to these days. (Think Kardashians...)

Unfortunately, whatever her personal issues were, she was making money illegally and killed someone.
