He announced on 3/8 that he's running against Issa. Since then he's been laser focused on taking it to Darrell and Donny.
More Democratic candidates need to confront their red state opponents like this to connect with their local resists movements. Many in the media will call it a stunt or unseemly, but we're in unprecedented times politically. Playing by the rules of decorum hasn't helped the Dems or the American people.
