In a nation of millions of voters

Everytime a new revelation about Trump/ Russia comes out and everytime the GOP covets it up, Republicans lose another voter.

My question is what are Democrats doing NOW to secure that the 2018 mid-term elections are not stolen again?

...for which there's no evidence, nor an allegation by any losing candidate.

As for the other three, Barack Obama shows we can overcome that if people are willing to vote.

It is a distraction that we don't need. I live in a red county, predominately, in a state controlled by republicans. I have not noticed anything but professionalism from the people that run elections here. My county is growing and is becoming less red due to that growth. All the large cities in my state vote blue. What we need to do is focus on getting non voters to get signed up and vote and to work on fielding younger, idealistic, yet common sensical candidates.

The GOP has adamantly opposed rules that would enforce a bare minimum of accountability for the election systems. That is prima facie evidence of systematic tampering.

9. There is something more pressing than reversing the RePutin coup?

We are talking about the integrity of our elections. If we don't have real elections, auditable and verifiable, we don't have a democracy. Simple as that. You are OK with that?

I completely agree that voter suppression is a well-documented and very visible problem. But the RePutin Party has numerous dirty tricks up their sleeves. Failure to stop them all will let them stay in power forever. Do you like that idea? Maybe you do?

10. I believe in dealing with the problem by addressing the items we know to exist

We know that Republicans suppress the vote. We DO NOT KNOW that voting machine integrity is a risk.

Let's remember that people here have been yelling vote hacking since 2004. And then, somehow, we won in 2006, 2008 and 2012.

Hillary Clinton doesn't say vote hacking occurred.

Bernie Sanders doesn't say vote hacking occurred.

The former Ohio Democratic Party Chair (whom I know) doesn't say vote hacking occurred.

The CURRENT Ohio Democratic Party Chair (whom I know) doesn't say vote hacking occurred.

NO losing Candidate in the last 12 years says vote hacking occurred

Dwelling on voting machine hacking is an easy out; it lets us believe that we actually "won", so we don't have to change our message or tactics. That's incredibly dangerous.

We could maybe get away with that in some areas, for a while. But elections are the only tool we have to stop all the other destruction being inflicted on this country by the GOP.

The fact that our party has been too wimpy and gutless to take election tampering seriously is the reason they have been decimated over the past 8 years. The cases you cite are examples of the problem. If we don't fix it, the American Experiment is over.

Republicans can feed them steaming shit and they will still vote republican. Add in purist liberals who will only accept the perfect and you have a tough wall for capable Democrats to scale.
