While people are arguing over 2 men trying to lead a largely administrative job at the DNC

(yes, i know it has some tactical elements and a huge fundraising component)

The real resistance to Trump is being lead by women.

The stars in the senate right now are Liz Warren, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Kamala Harris who are leading voices against Trump Cabinet nominees.

Sally Yates who refused to defend an illegal exec action.

Gabby Giffords who is shaming GOP to show up to townhalls

Maxine Waters and Nancy Pelosi in the house trashing Trumps every actions.

Laverne Cox and Janet Mocks who are leading the pushback against this anti-trans regime

Cecilia Richards of Planned Parenthood who is pushing back against more anti-choice legislation.

Not to mention women who marched in the women's march and women leading the pro-science resistance

Hillary was right when she said the future is female.

At the local level, all of the grass roots organizing in my community that I have witnessed since 11/08/2016 has been spearheaded and facilitated by women. All of it. Yes, men are involved in as many numbers as women. But women are doing the organizing and making sure it happens.

Edited to fix date.

We have been taking over the helm. It isn't going to happen overnight. We are scaring the shit out of right wing extremists.

Five years ago today. Or maybe yesterday. lol. Remember those sticking their necks out and taking extreme abuse along the way.

men than not still have that back burner issue with women in power. When the majority of men are willing to admit women would be good in high ranking offices then things might change for the better. Now, guys here please do not get offended because I am not talking about you because so far all of the ones that I have seen posting do not have a problem with women. I am talking about the bigger majority.

The January 21 Women's March was an incredible show of force. It was the women in Chile who brought down Salvador Allende in the late 70s.

Women rock!
