I noticed the traffic was light, the mall parking lots were not full at all. Driving was almost a pleasure. Wonder if shoppers decided to pass or if immigrants, documented and undocumented, decided to stay home and not spend this holiday?

(8,203 posts)Keep in mind, it has been raining for three days here in AZ. In the store, I never park my cart in the aisle - always off to a place so not to inconvenience other shoppers (although other shoppers block aisle all the time) - picking out my pepper (now when I move behind someone I always let them know I am behind them)..CRASH, I walk right into her cart as I turned to go to my cart..and she looked at me as to say watch where you are going - then, she wanted to make sure I was okay...(hey lady, you were behind ME - I wanted to say..)
I always use self-checkout when few items...is tight space, but I manage to stay clear of other machines, not clear enough today evidently..here come two women - pushed my cart out of their way...as I was checking out...silly me..I guess I was crowding her spot..too funny...
Now, outside - yes, parking lot full (AZ), I cross over, two cars waiting for parking aisle to free up (someone backing out) - I start walking past second car and she decides to pull left around first car - almost hit me - but I was watching her (you never know) (yes, I waited for a moment for their aisle to clear) and she wants to yell at me...I made it to my truck (I always park far away from everyone) I watched her drive around the parking lot - I really don't know where she ended up....I guess she was looking for a spot close to the door..LOL
I came right home - and this is where I plan to stay FOREVER!!!LOL.....I love my DU....
