Chris Matthews picked up on something very interesting about Cheetolini's therapy session yesterday

Matthews...discerned something revealing about Trump’s answer to reporters’ questions in the East Room of the White House. And Matthews put it into historical context.

Whenever answering (or dodging) inquiries about his campaign’s involvement with the Russians, Matthews said, Trump used phrases like “to the best of my knowledge” and “I don’t recall” to deflect questions without quite denying them.

Matthews compared Trump’s “weasel words” to those of Alger Hiss, an American who spied for the Soviet Union during the Red Scare of the Cold War.

“Those are ways to avoid perjury,” Matthews said of Trump’s word choices. “They’re not truth-telling, generally.”

Matthews also said the press conference was "manic" - like listening to a guy “on a couch explaining his problems to a shrink.”

1. Thanks for posting. Drumpf as they say has been "lawyered up."

A good reporter would asked Drump this question for the record: "If somebody said you were aware of your associates collaborating with Russia they would be lying ? "

And this is how I truly felt watching the presser:
During his rantings and ravings, you expected white-uniformed figures to burst in with a straitjacket and a rubber net.

8. Whoa.. "It was a rambling, bellicose affair that will be studied by psychology students for decades

to come."

Weird he felt the need to say "..“To be honest.." right before he told one his stupid self-serving lies.

Wants to blame his stupid FUBAR on President Obama..

"His arguments might have carried a bit more weight if they hadn’t been accompanied by a slew of lies, such as when Trump boasted about his Electoral College win. “We got 306!” he crowed. “It was the biggest Electoral College win since Ronald Reagan”… except, as several reporters pointed out minutes later, it wasn’t."

“There has never been a presidency that’s done so much in such a short period of time"

Never done so much harm in a short period of time.

trump is wasting the Country's time. he's so full of fucking bullshit.

Thank you for this, Native~

38. That exchange surprised me -

It was the closest I've seem him come to admitting lying.
It was too polished - he offered the Republicans line without a fraction of a second of hesitation, and similarly no hesitation when they called him out on his fallback lie.

Usually he just gets angry or bumbles around for a bit. I've never heard him say the equivalent of "Some people say" in apparent recognition that he'd been caught lying before. It is generally a preface to an affirmative lie.

22. It was painful to watch. Rambling, incoherent, angry, nasty, insulting.

That's why he never talks, he tweets. Because if you watch him more than a few minutes it's apparent he has lost his marbles. 77 minutes or close to, and said nothing of substance just bragging on himself. I think we should petition all the cable media to quit showing this ullshit everyday because it is propaganda. Same shit different day.

Trainwreck was possible. Didn't happen overnight. They've been GROOMING the public much like a pedophile grooms his target. Start small, build up, test limits, and keep the big prize in mind.

From the article:

Honestly, I couldn't sit through the entire trainwreck, but the almost universal verdict is that the man is barking mad. Dangerously mad.

9. My hope: The enabling GOP will pay for their support of this mad man.

He's truly crazy. And he's got virtually unlimited power. And he's willing to use it for craziness that puts ALL of us in peril. The GOP applauds.

The GOP is itching to contest Roe v Wade, to outlaw BIRTH CONTROL, to use ICE as a 21st. Century Gestapo, and among other things, run the government as a board room for corporate operations and windfall profits. Trumpy's Fanboys are happy with all this.

by the Watergate conspirators. How'd that work out?
Trump is a nut who doesn't read and gets his info from cable news. He's very limited, and not a deep thinker, more of a reactionary.
Whatever school granted him a degree owes him a full refund.
Bankrupting casinos and being a cheesy actor on a reality TV show is not the same as being the President of the United States.
Something really bad happened on November 8, 2016. It fells like we've stepped through the looking glass.
