Mitch McConnell said yesterday, that Trump should remain on topic, and if he did he would be 10 to 15 points higher in standing....Hit the link..see for yourself..Trump has been warned, for all to see, to get it together and stay focused.....

I believe he is being watched.......by his own people...

from the article linked, (The Hill, Feb 15)

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell

(R-Ky.) says President Trump’s public remarks and tweets are complicating his ability to enact his agenda.

“ 10 to 15 points higher if he allowed himself to stay on message,” McConnell told the Weekly Standard Wednesday, referencing Trump’s approval rating. "What he’s saying makes everything harder. harder to achieve what you want to achieve.”

McConnell said he had repeatedly urged Trump to tone down his rhetoric, especially on his Twitter account.
“He doesn’t always take my advice,” he said, noting the president is the “most criticized person in the world.”

He said he does not object to Trump’s tweets but “what you say with the tweet” instead. McConnell said Trump creates a “theater aspect” when he publicly tackles certain issues, creating fodder for the media “on a daily basis.”

The Kentucky senator insisted he has “a really good relationship” with Trump despite his remarks, citing an hour they spent together at the White House last week.

and added point....paragraph 3...very important.....................................

McConnell said he had repeatedly urged Trump to tone down his rhetoric, especially on his Twitter account. "He doesn’t always take my advice,” he said, noting the president is the “most criticized person in the world.” .....one word stands out..."repeatedly".....

Now, I hate McConnell with a passion...for who he is and what he has done, especially to Obama. Nevertheless, this is an open admission that Trump has been warned about his language and his tone..So, he is being watched by his own....and he was warned,publically.....a day before today's nut job performance..

One more note...added about 50 minutes later.....why watch him and warn him???...because they are thinking what we are...that he is nuts, and needs to be pushed out, at the correct time, if there is one. That is, they are indeed thinking of impeaching him,,,because, yes, he is dangerous..

2. Of course they're watching him. Dolt45 doesn't even speak to Congress, he goes behind their backs.

That's because he is forever afraid of being shown up for the clueless loser he has always been.

4. So, if...." Dolt45 doesn't even speak to Congress, he goes behind their backs.." then

they will watch him and his gang even more carefully.. So, perhaps, when it gets much worse, which it will....then they, Republican in Congress, will act swift and precise with necessary action.. Dolt45 seems nuts and out of control...Perhaps .....they will act before the inevitable crisis....but I doubt it.

5. I would bet money that next week's EO will have had zero input from Congress. Just like the 1st one.

Because if he is as dangerous as people are saying...see other threads, ..then action will and must be taken, quickly and precisely.

He won't do it. Why not? He could be in on the Russian hacking of our election, too. GOP was involved in getting Trump elected bigly.

8. Yes, but if Trump is to be gotten rid of, Congress will probably have to do it...

There is one exception...in my opinion...If his family could get him to resign, for whatever reasons,,,then it would save everyone,,....yes everyone a whole lot of pain and trouble.....interesting addition, Josh Marshall at Talking Points Memo...is pointing out the idea that he is nuts and cannot continue as president...there is a thread about this in this forum going on now.........here is a link to that discussion.....
