Flynn must have really pissed off someone

In addition, the Army has been investigating whether Mr. Flynn received money from the Russian government during a trip he took to Moscow in 2015, according to two defense officials. Such a payment might violate the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution, which prohibits former military officers from receiving money from a foreign government without consent from Congress. The defense officials said there was no record that Mr. Flynn, a retired three-star Army general, filed the required paperwork for the trip.

1. Pretty sure that knives were out for him

at the CIA and probably elements of military intelligence.

Flynn had to know that he was being recorded when he talked to the Russians... and he just thought that being NSA would protect him.

3. Whether he's guilty of the allegations makes no difference really.

 

Perhaps those details will come later. Any accusation of quid pro quo made him a liability for the Trump administration. He had to go. (but of course we know that there's something there there) Let's see, how many scandals have already occurred and he's only been in for 24 days? My my my.
