He and Greg Lee (point guard on the team) were great friends off the court--and still are--and G. Lee as he was called was friends with
a sorority sister and roommate of mine. Both Walton and Lee ended up at a party one summer night at our apartment. I'll never forget it.
Walton was really a fun guy--kind of crazy--and he sure had the look. Scruffy red hair and beard. No mistaking him if you happened to
walk past him on campus!

Fun interview with him here: http://www.bruinsnation.com/2016/5/9/11595276/ucla-basketball-legend-bill-walton-talks-to-bruins-nation-part-1

I hope your kids and grandkids (if you have them) appreciate the interesting era of your experiences.

he took an elbow to the mouth during a critical part of the game. His front tooth has hanging by a "string" but instead of taking a time out he just yanked it out running downcourt and tossed it under the backboard so he could stay in the game. I was like OMG!
