Trump starts offensive against Democratic cities

The new directive to strip federal funds from sanctuary cities and the launch of an investigation about so-called illegal voting are both targeting Democratic cities.

Let's call these decisions what they are - moves against Democratic cities designed to defund them and repress voting.

because Democratic cities and states are the ones that support the red staters.

Perhaps we counter with threatening to withhold the federal taxes we send in return.

Of what to if Trump went through on his threat to do this.

I wonder if that is one possible action.

beat Dornan in CA in the 90s and that I thought it likely that if they actually started an investigation they would use it to further repress the right to vote, particularly targeting minority voters.

They'll likely go after college voters too, especially those attending school in a different state. Currently they can register in either state to vote.

Blue states and "reddened" Rust Belt states with Democratic governors won't be having any of Tramp's oppressive bullshit, so I wouldn't be surprised if there were secessions on the coasts or even a new civil war.

and we can add San Antonio, ElPaso, Austin, and Huston but we have one more city full of turds and that one is Corpus Christi. It should be Democratic with the high Hispanic population but it was Gerrymandered with the Military's Naval air station which always voted Republican.

Lean hard on the larger cities, sew chaos in the more fragile/minority communities, start riots, then send in the troops.
It's social genocide - the people behind Trump are hoping for a Helter Skelter/Long Hot Summer/Purge type event nation-wide, and then we can be a Supreme White Christianist Nation - just like Russia.
If a few thousand - or a few hundred thousand - or a few million minorities and liberals are killed, injured, made homeless, or incarcerated - they'd be even happier.

Trump - he could care less what happens to anyone but himself and his family. He just wants to be rich and "respected". It's the people around him that allow him to knowingly play at being a figurehead that really worry me.
