I believe this is the GOP game planThey are going to have Donald as the distraction for headline grabbing. They don't care if peeing comes out. In fact the GOP would welcome it as a big distraction for the media. Meanwhile, like they promised starting Monday, they are going to dismantle any traces of government that don't benefit the wealthy special interests. As long as they have just enough scandal cover but not quite impeachment until they are done with him. What do you think?

1. their useful idiot
He's such a political novice that they should have no real trouble with him. He plays by the CEO rulebook and that's not the same thing.
If he gets out of hand, they will have enough goods on him to kick him out and replace him with the VP. |

21. Pence already does ALL the real work for him. The big Rs all saw the classified files, they know exa
exactly what kind of person they allowed and helped to be elected.

2. Sounds about right. They only opposed him before because they thought he couldn't win.
Now they can control him via the threat of impeachment, so they're fine with using him as cover.

3. The KGOP Will Never Move To Impeach Him.....
because he knows where the skeletons are buried and he would take down the Party with him.
Even if he doesn't know where the skeletons are buried - he would make something up and lie - to bring the Repug Party down - if they try to impeach him. We're stuck with Trump for the next four years. |

20. He doesn't know where any skeletons are buried. He just has a big mouth.
How would he know any dirt?
Except with the Russia/Putin crap. So there's that. But otherwise, he hasn't worked with these people. |

23. As You May Recall During The Primaries He....
was proud and talking that he donated to all the people in the clown car and that when donations are made - one expects favors in return.
Also - when he won the primary and he became the Repug nominee - most notable Repugs including the RNC rallied around this guy to get him elected. The Repug Party embraced him. Along with Putin - the Repug Party had a lot to do with him winning the election. In that process - I'm sure that he learned how the Repugs can manipulate the vote - starting with voter suppression and quite possibly hacking of the voting machines and other tricks that the Repug Party does to manipulate the vote. Remember - the only way the Repug Party can win is to cheat. That's why I'm sure that Trump knows where the skeletons are buried. I think he could take down McConnell, Ryan, Priebus along with a whole host of others. And if Comey was a tool of the Repug Party - Trump knew that as well. This is why I say - Trump will not be approached to either resign or be impeached by the Repug Party. If they try - he will spill the beans - and if there are no beans to spill - it's not beyond Trump to make things up (lie) to bring down the Party. The Repug Party is afraid of Trump and it is a touchy alliance. |

4. I think for most of their leaders this is the current plan.
The rest will fall in line as events unfold.
Unless we make significant gains in '18, which scares me because of the number of Dem's up for re-election, then we've got serious problems. I'd like to know exactly what the Dem's plans are to try and stop this train wreck. |

6. That plan doesn't work
If Democrats win big in two years and get a majority in Congress.

8. Highly unlikely but I hope so
Besides...two years is a long time.
Democrats have far more open seats in 2018 unfortunately. |

Given the damage their policies will do.

19. Republicans are now in a position....
.... to unilaterally change the course of our country forever.
And given the (shall I call it) pathological obsession with removing any measure of help and support for anyone who does not meet their standards of wealth, class and standing in our society, those left behind sink deeper into despair, debt and depression. I don't know how many more severe economic down-turns our economy can withstand. My folks lived through the great depression of the 30's.... a genuine darkness came over them every time they talked about it. President Obama adverted the financial melt down of 2008-2009 and I don't think we realize how near our catastrophe really was. Can we as a nation weather another one so soon? I pray we don't have to find out.... but it's not looking good. What I sense is that for some twisted reasons that only they understand (if they even do themselves) is that the Republican "Beast" will not be content until our United States of America is reduced to some kind of dystopian post-apocalyptic wasteland like the "Mad Max" movie. God help me, this mind set makes no sense whatsoever, but yet all the evidence points that way. |

22. This is is my prophetic vision what will happen...And you are close!
First, the smug grin from Paul Ryan says it all....
https://www.bustle.com/p/open-letter-to-paul-ryans-smug-face-31881 I am sure Ryan has been paid quite nicely to push all of the republican & corporate interests through executive orders on the first day. I am predicting the first half of this year will continue as it has been. Obama created a robust economy and I believe it will continue to thrive. The second half of this year, you will see it all come to a halt. Job losses will occur and interest rates will hike. The middle class will begin to crumble and the poor, well there will be no mention of them. ACA will be dismantled and we will have no Obamacare in 2018. We will see a major downturn in our economy in his second year of presidency. By the third year, corruption and war will break out. As i pointed out my concerns of Dump's mental status in another thread, I truly believe his mental condition will be in total breakdown by this point. I truly believe Trump will commit suicide while in office by the end of his third year in office. I wouldn't be surprised Melania and Donald are actually separated but not divorced, and that's the real reason she will be not be staying in WH. It is obvious by her facial expression that she has no interest in Donald. |
