Trump deflection: why is no one talking about what Lewis said.

Trump pulled another masterful stroke of deflection when he turned Lewis's remark into a rage about Trump's retaliation.

Lewis brought up the question of legitimacy, a question Trump cannot afford to have discussed. By dissing Lewis he changed the topic.

Of course,Trump is not going to actually try to counter any facts about his election and his ties to Russia. In fact, he could settle many questions about his candidacy by openly releasing information about his taxes and businesses. We can't let this question die.

2. yup. we're talking past each other and not effectively countering in their universe.

in their universe, lewis said "trump bad".
trump countered with "but you're black and your district is stereotypically black"
lewis responded, in their universe, with "yes, i'm black, but blacks districts can look a bit white too, and yes, i'm black"

that's not a punch back, in fact it's a further win for trump. he not only derails "trump bad" topic, but he also further establishes his tribal identity and his critics' tribal identity, which is part of the game that benefits donnie.

3. I think that all references to cheato

should include words like; loser, illegitimate - especially, and cheater/cheato.
