Tell Congress: Protect and expand the health care needs of working families, do not cut them

In less than one week, the new Republican Congress will begin their efforts to dismantle America’s health care system.

Stopping this Republican assault on the working class of this country will require the active participation of millions of Americans in every community in our country.

Add your name to demand that Congress protect and expand the health care needs of working families, not cut them. Tell Trump and Congress that they must pass legislation that makes the wealthy start paying their fair share of taxes instead of trying to slash life-or-death programs that tens of millions of Americans rely on.

I wrote a long post yesterday about how powerful DU could be if we became more than an online blog, I was reminiscing on when in 2003 I joined this site at the age of 14 and I actually attended DU meetups and how we the DU community was an organized effort, having a physical presence at anti war rallies & Protest at Bush's inauguration & how we can & must stand up to Trump in the same way...

I was disappointed to see that 4 out of 5 replies were people bitching because the phone I used capitalizes the first letter of every word, the first letter, not every single letter.

It seems unfortunately that DU has become Trump obsessed and lazy... That's Honestly My Personal Opinion!

Some people would rather hate on Bernie than do something productive.

Sadly, it is not surprising.

They complain he's not a "real Democrat" because, I guess, one's card-carrying membership is supposed to be more important than if one is fghting for the Democratic agenda.
