'You cannot eat here': Hawaii caf riles residents with ban on Trump votersA bright yellow, handmade sign posted on the restaurant's front glass door declares: “If you voted for Trump you cannot eat here! No Nazis.”“Robert just wants to express how much he doesn’t like Trump,” Jali said. “If people take it personally or it hurts them, we cannot help. That’s why we say they have [a] choice if they want to come or not come. We don’t force them.”'You cannot eat here': Hawaii café riles residents with ban on Trump voters http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/12/27/cannot-eat-here-hawaii-caf-riles-residents-with-ban-on-trump-voters.html

6. Oh my... I wonder how it feels for the shoe to be on the other foot?
Remember when they thought it was a baker's prerogative if he or she didn't feel comfortable making a wedding cake for a gay couple?
Hmmm... now people actually are being vocal about trying to refuse service to Trump voters. Amazing turn of events! This source is from Faux Noise, but I think it's hilarious that the sane part of this country seems to want nothing to do with the deplorables. I really don't have a problem with public shaming or ostracization when the consequences for their behavior are so destructive. These people should feel uncomfortable wherever they go. |

8. Apparently not so good they're Firebombed their yelp page
But denying cakes to gay couples is ok , Kentucky's pride Davis is allowed to deny marriages she doesn't agree with , etc.....

7. Hes getting slammed on Yelp
and Google reviews...
https://www.yelp.com/biz/caf%C3%A9-8-1-2-honolulu-3 Seriously, I don't get why some business owners willfully choose to alienate, rile up any segment of potential customers. Is it the 'there's no such thing as bad publicity' business model, or is it a well crafted scam so that some sympathizer will start a 'Go Fund Me' account for the fools? |

11. Yelp is serious buisness for some.
As in over inflated egos, and sense of self worth and importance that it's laughable.
Elite Yelpers Hold Immense Power, And They Get Treated Like Kings By Bars And Restaurants Trying To Curry Favor
From an outsider's perspective, becoming a Yelp Elite is akin to joining a secret society. Elite members bear special badges on their Yelp profiles, and they're invited to private events where up-and-coming restaurants and bars provide food and drinks for free. The idea is that Yelp Elites will get these new local businesses on their radar, then create high-quality, reliable reviews and direct traffic to the site. We recently attended a Yelp Elite event at Analogue, a cocktail and jazz bar in New York City's West Village. When we arrived, guests were enjoying small bites and spritzer cocktails made with Casoni 1814 and Prosecco. We were told everything was on the house. http://www.businessinsider.com/how-to-become-yelp-elite-2014-8 The complete guide on how to become a Yelp Elite
I learned about Yelp during my first year studying in U.S. This is a great app for anyone to find whatever services they need nearby their current location, along with reading honest (sometimes it can be too honest) customer reviews. Often enough, you will find reviews with a red Yelp badge next to their first name i.e. “Elite’15”. Does it mean they are cooler than you? Maybe! I never knew about the world of Yelp Elite until 2014! One of my friends at UC Davis told me about it, while we were just drinking boba. Then, it just hit me! I WANTED TO BECOME A YELP ELITE, NOT JUST A REGULAR ELITE BUT AN INTERNATIONAL ELITE!!! I only gave myself 6 months to obtain the Yelp Elite Badge! Guess what? I got it after 3 MONTHS! Since then, I always get invitations to exclusive Yelp Elite Events and insights for brand new businesses nearby. I think this is a fun thing for any international students who are interested in food, writing, blogging and use Yelp on a regular basis to look for businesses. So how did I do it? Below is the completely guide on how to become a Yelp Elite that I want to share it with my international fellas! http://www.studyabroadcorner.com/how-to-become-a-yelp-elite/ Google ""Yelp Elite" for more |

10. When you go to yelp you get this
Active Cleanup Alert
This business recently made waves in the news, which often means that people come to this page to post their views on the news. While we don’t take a stand one way or the other when it comes to these news events, we do work to remove both positive and negative posts that appear to be motivated more by the news coverage itself than the reviewer’s personal consumer experience with the business. As a result, your posts to this page may be removed as part of our cleanup process beginning Tuesday, December 27, 2016, but you should feel free to post your thoughts about the recent media coverage for this business on Yelp Talk at any time. |

14. I agree - not on its weirdness, as much it's being at crosspurposes with their intent.
Suffice it to say, Faux Noise must be having a field day with this.
