The Deplorables are not your friends. They hate your guts.

Ignoring unpleasant truths don't make them disappear. How much do they hate your guts? They openly applaud the collaboration of a foreign power to steal the election from you. That's a lot of hate.

I am tired of seeing them defended. They are no different than the voters who gave Hitler and his National Socialist party a plurality in the 1933 German federal election. That was their last free election until after they were liberated. In the interim period Germany killed 20,000, 000 people and threw every continent but Antarctica into war.

I am not saying we should hate the Deplorables. But I am saying they hate us and would harm us if they could and we need to take appropriate steps.

The theme is this: If we only find "common cause" with these moron bigots, because, ya know, JERBS, and stuff, that all will be well and they'll stop painting Nazi swastikas on our homes and cars, scribbling TRUMP WON in spray paint, and beating up those of us who are not white KRIS-TYUN males.

This is utter bullshit. Those JERBS aren't coming back, in fact, it will take TRUE BLUE educated people to cough up ideas that create NEW jobs. And those racists won't stop hating us, the federal minimum wage might even go south before it goes north, and THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYONE BUT THEMSELVES.

They wish us DEAD.

Since HATE is a pointless emotion, I agree with you. We don't need to hate them, but we need to oppose their hatred with every fiber of our being, and when (not if) they engage in crimes of hatred, we need to push to get them punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Not sure how they will act/what they will do when by Feb 1 nothing has changed - we are still a diverse population - and Trump's act was just and act (okay, they may *never* get that last thing.)

6. Jerbs Jobs. That's Goponics.

Goponics: A propaganda based patois that has evolved from attempts by lazy minded new money sociopaths to sound "folksy" while they're engaging in attempts to sway an uninformed or under-informed electorate. includes: Fake generic "Southern" accents, mash-ups of incomplete sentences, and simplification of words such as Bigley (Big League), Nucler (Nuclear), any -ing ending shortened to 'n...

Goponics also include the inability of Goponics native speaker to read scripts and teleprompters with sentences to include both dog-whistles and subtle insults to their listeners.

Goponics native speakers are typically failed businessmen or other failed professionals who leveraged any combination of good looks, family influences or taxpayer funds to fool enough people to rise to a level of political authority two to three levels above their natural talents or abilities.

As for Trump voters - not all of them are "the deplorables" but at least half of them have no problem allowing the deplorables to be the representation their idea of a "lesser of two evils" society.
The people who voted for Trump/Pence they didn't feel threatened letting outright racists, homophobes, sexists, religious bigots and economic "hit-men" take over the country because these people were less threatening to their personal world-view.
It's very difficult to feel any sympathy - or - respect for them as they've basically agreed with the viewpoint. that 3/4 of the country doesn't matter. Claiming ignorance doesn't cut it - not even for sweet little old grandmas, old friends, and kindly avuncular neighbors who might have been "tricked".

These people - most of whom have been described by their supporters as good, moral, church-goers and educated people, still watched enough TV and indulged in enough media back and forth that they could be under no illusions of the type of people who were feeding them fear, hate, and other shit. They made a choice to go a little bit forward or a lot backwards. At best, they made a lazy comfortable, easy choice for them that puts them in the back of the line for future economic and social pain.
Because in their hearts, they know they're not going feel the worse effects of their choice for a long time - until it finally becomes their turn - and by then, everything will be pretty much fixed by the hated, "misguided", easy to target liberals, just as always happened in the past...

...until it doesn't. Until the Constitution of the United States can no longer contain and check the darker nature of power.
And then we become a new country - no longer under secular laws that protect all inhabitants - and the legal definition of citizenship is twisted to a sectarian definition, leaving out a significant portion of the population.
But hey, maybe we'll not only retain 3/5's legal citizenship status for minority populations, but women will now be included as 3/5's; after all, who needs suffrage if the rich folk on the hill will be taking on the burden of running the country for the rest of us.
