Trump breaks promise on NAFTA

Members of the Trump transition team are trying to tamp down concerns among corporate leaders that the incoming administration may spark trade wars with Mexico, Canada and other major trading partners over the next four years.

Anthony Scaramucci, a senior advisor on the Trump transition team, told a group of business leaders convened at a bipartisan meeting by the group No Labels that President-elect Trump is a free-trader who is looking to make trade deals more fair, not scrap them.

“I don’t think we’re looking to rip up NAFTA as much as we are looking to right-size it and make it fairer,” he added. “He’s got a great relationship, by the way, with the Mexican president. They talk regularly,” referring to Trump and Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto.

First, we construct a really big wall along the border to stop border crossings and drugs, then we dump 12 million undocumented workers across the border (and end a lot of money being sent to Mexico), then we "re-negotiate" NAFTA to keep jobs in the US and move them back from Mexico or penalize Mexican-made products, all the while devastating Mexico's economy.

Then, we send them the bill for that big, beautiful wall?

I hope Corrupt Trump supporters didn't take him literally, as his former campaign manager says they understood. And it was only the press that got bamboozled!

Right.

They think he is just teasing them with all the horseshit he's been throwing around. But they were promised a pony by and if he doesn't deliver there will be some sad looking cowpokes on Christmas morning.

14. So the main thing wrong with them was labor and environmental standards

Along with the astoundingly awful clause that corporations can sue governments (ie those citizens taxes) for 'loss of profits" if that elected government, with a mandate, changes their labor or heathcare or environmental laws that would affect a foreign corporations bottom line.

Is that what he will correct?
