Cubs biggest NL rival is the St. Louis Cardinals.
Cubs biggest AL rival is the cross-town, south-side White Sox.

2003 - Cubs choked in epic fashion in game 6, 4 outs away and blamed a fan (Bartman)
2004 - Cards went to the World Series and Boston broke their "curse of the Bambino" (1918)
2005 - White Sox went to the World Series and broke their "curse of the Black Sox" (1919)
2006 - Cards went to the World Series and won it for the 10th time.

With this rain delay and extra innings though I do not think this could get any crazier...its getting close to the level of Game 6 in '75 or '11 series...
