McCrory says good friends have shunned him, his wife over HB2

http://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/politics-government/article107576012.html

In a discussion with conservative leaders last week, North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory said the reaction to House Bill 2 has gotten personal, leaving his wife “shunned” at social events and making him the target of verbal assaults and even death threats.

McCrory told the group that he’s also experienced political blow-back that he said was orchestrated by the Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest LGBT advocacy group.

He described companies that say, “Although you’ve been an outstanding governor, we still cannot support you because HRC will attack us,” he recalled. “And I’ve had at least five this week tell me that. Good friends. Very good friends. ‘Pat, I love ya. I love ya man, we’ll be friends for life. We just can’t support you.”...

▪ “My wife, for example, in Charlotte – she primarily stays in Charlotte,” he said. “She’s been disinvited to charity events. Basically, they call her up and say, ‘You better not come. You better not come.…

bigotry and I hope it blows up in his face when voters toss him overboard.

Be nice if they just waved bye-bye to Governor McCrory and Clinton-Kaine wins North Carolina early on in the evening of Nov. 8th.

And we'll just take that U.S. Senate seat too, long as we're in town.

During the hurricane, his briefings were well done. He seemed to have a handle on things. Rick Scott, on the other hand, just sucks on all levels.

Any fucking monkey can do that. That makes the monkey a "decent executive"? What was his tie in a Double Windsor? How low can this bar or excellence go?

Seriously. The fact that he spit out pre-written words well matters to you?

I live in NC and he is shit on a stick. Period.

People have said racist shit to me in the past. They're no longer invited to my home, and I don't accept their invitations.

If somebody finds you deplorable, that person will probably not want to associate with you any more. He acts like this is surprising. It is probably the major force that reduced open racism in this country, and will reduce open bigotry against LGBTQ people. Oh, you're a bigot? Guess what? We can't hang out any more. Buh-bye.

Deal with it, Pat.

Or change.
