Call your wife, call your kids, git yo' popcorn boys and girls because this GOP freak show is getting good. Context: in the right corner we have Grandpa McCain yelling at Romney to get off his campaign finance yard. On the other, we have Romney--hanging in the dressing-room--cowardly hiding, speechless, after after McCain said--and I quote: "corporations are (nizott) people too." Not, people...not!!
Enjoy:

(25,699 posts)But one thing, John; it was a Supreme court decision that ruled corporations are people under the 14th amendment. They've never overturned that ruling.

(32,080 posts)The "Citizen's United" decision overturned that. McCain is rightfully pissed off at that.

(8,492 posts)I've also received two email responses from him. I can't guarantee they were from "him" and not a staff member, but they were worded in his manner of speech. They were both reasonable and informative responses. Doesn't mean I agree with him most of the time, but I'd bet probably 10-20% of the time. Since he lost the election, he's gone back to his old moderate ways, which is acceptable to a Democrat in Arizona. We take what we can get.
