As of the first day of classes, Mizzou enrolled 4,799 freshmen the smallest class in almost a decade. That number is down more than 1,600 incoming freshmen from fall 2015.
University officials braced for a smaller freshman class for months following a string of events last fall that brought the campus under national scrutiny. Protests centered largely around matters of race led to deep divisions among the campus and community and to the resignation of the schools top two leaders.
Preliminary data show a 12 percent decline in out-of-state undergraduate students, and a 6 percent decline of in-state undergraduate students compared to fall 2015.

This is what happens when you cave to a bunch of rich, spoiled, lying brats bent on turning the campus into a regressive utopia.
At least the University of Chicago had the good sense to tell those types to knock it off before they even started there.

(56,312 posts)1. Try telling the racists to knock it off too.
Who wants to go to a college with that kind of bigotry going on whether you're black or white?

(16,184 posts)7. Oh no, a single act of vandalism.
That was the only thing confirmed. Everything else, the protesters were caught lying about.

I've looked and googled and barely saw any recent incidents post 2015 on the magnitude of the shit swatzikas.

November 8 -- Black football players announce they won't practice or play until Wolfe is removed. The Athletic Department, Coach Gary Pinkel and many white players quickly announce their support for the protest.
November 9 -- The Missouri Students Association's executive cabinet calls for Wolfe's ouster, saying the system's administration "has undeniably failed us." Hours later, Wolfe announces his resignation.

The students got rid of the guy that allowed it to get that bad.

(16,184 posts)6. Got how bad?
The protesters lied about the KKK, lied about the students driving around yelling slurs from a pickup, and lied about Wolfe's car hitting them during the parade. The only documented incident at the university was a single shit swastika in one of the bathrooms.
Wolfe did absolutely nothing wrong and had no business resigning.
