If Dr. Bornstein was my physician I'd be looking for a new one and here's why

This is a direct quote, from him:

“I get rushed and I get anxious when I get rushed, so I try to get four or five lines done as fast as possible,” Bornstein explained. “In a rush, I think some of those words didn’t come out exactly the way they were meant.”

I seriously would NOT want a physician treating me who gets anxious when he gets rushed, and when rushed, things don't turn out exactly the way they were meant.

Are we sure this guy is actually a physician, and not someone who just plays one for propaganda purposes?

3. Don't even get me started on Carson - something about him doesn't add up

Yea, he performed some remarkable surgeries, but why does such a gifted surgeon retire COMPLETELY away from medicine, at such a young age? If it was due to something that compromised him, physically, he could still teach and/or consult. But to cut him self off from something he must have loved, I just don't get it.

My suspicion is he was given a hard choice to leave completely, or face some sort of consequence for something that went very wrong. I have absolutely zero proof or example of this, but I credentialed physicians, for years, and his specialty is not the most common, but it is one of the most sued.

12. LOTs of things don't add up! Lol. It wouldn't seem

incredible that such an extremist dingdong could have gotten himself in trouble, and it's interesting that your background makes you wonder. But I'm thinking Carson's issues may simply have lead him away from medicine. I'd love to read a psychologist's formal evaluation, but of course we'll never see that.

Besides being a religious zealot (lay terminology ), though, Carson obviously has big issues with ego and attention seeking. His home is filled with glorified images of himself, awards to himself, etc. Hospitals and research labs are such introverted environments, that I suspect Carson may simply have "outgrown" such a small and hidden stage. So far he's written at least 10 books, all either specifically about him or featuring him as shining examples.

His buddy Jesus's body language may dominate in this painting, but compared to the big guy in the foreground Jesus seems to be suffering from severe microcephaly.

What's so amazing is how many...strange people are running for president now that the the Republican Party has moved farther right than it has ever been in history. And the presidential candidates were almost all positioned on the far right of that range!

I feel sure several of these weirdos have to clinically diagnosable. Carson's only one of those who ran for president to bask in the spotlight, build their resumes, and grab the opportunity to hawk merchandise. Several discussions I've read of Newt have suggested he's a psychopath based on his behavior. Cain and Huckabee are almost literally snake-oil salesmen, and Gingrich is also a direct-mail huckster. And, of course, there's Trump. Oh, and definitely possibly others who have to be wondered about, like Cruz. The entire meltdown syndrome is fascinating, and I'm hoping for a couple really good books before long.

31. Too close a relationship with God?

Didn't know there was such a thing.

Reminds me, I once was appraising in a neighborhood with a very nice Buddhist temple. A view of it was considered a spiritual plus and very desirable. People paid substantially more for houses like mine with a view across a large sand wash toward its comparatively plain sides and back. Except for one house that sold very low, across the street from its beautiful entrance and court and in full view of IT. Worthless as a comp because that was definitely too much of a good thing.

Even if his license shouldn't be at very least suspended for signing The Donald's letter.

5. I wonder if he's lost patients after the full display of his nuttiness.

Of course, that could be offset by an uptick in patients looking for signatures on pre-written letters and maybe even prescriptions on demand.

21. I haven't been able to watch the interview

But I suspect, as "out-of-register" as the signature is, that he signed a blank piece of paper and the letter was written over it later.

Did anyone ask him why he claimed to be in a non-existent department of a non-existent section of a hospital where nobody knows him?

23. Off topic

but the name reminds me of Joe Bornstein commercials in Maine. The law offices of Joe Bornstein.... LOL.. decades ago they had a commercial.

"Who's representing them?"

"Joe Bornstein."

"Joe Bornstein... let's settle this one."

Yeah, all you have to do is say "Joe Bornstein" and the other lawyers want to settle immediately. I always thought that was comical.

And then the actor Robert Vaughn, whom everyone in Maine thinks is Joe Bornstein (LOL!), says "Tell them you mean business. Call the law offices of Joe Bornstein."

And he does look very good. Robert Vaughn has aged well, too. He was, briefly, on a soap I watch, out of England called Coronation Street and he did quite a few appearances on Law and Order.

I had, and pretty much do still have, a major crush on David McCallum.
