1. i think he is already in retirement and spending most time with the grandkids

did you see him playing with the balloons ?

it looks like this time around he is letting his wife and daughter and the people who work on the campaign deal with the tough part while he will just do what he enjoys.

3. People like him don't know how to retire

My dad's 81, in pretty good health, and keeps on taking on as much consulting work as Social Security will let him (and with the rest of the time does politics, active vacations, and charity work for consulting clients he thinks won't be able to afford it. He reminds me of the Big Dog that way. It's not a job if you do what you love and just happen to make money at it.
